Each year the American Legion has many scholarships available to high school students. I have applications for the following in my office at this time and they are due by February 15th, 2010.
Music Committee Scholarship $1000
Shooting Sports Scholarship $500
Hobble (LPN) Nursing Scholarship $300
Eagle Scout of the Year (Due by March 1st) $10,000 – 3 x $2500 and $500
Hugh A Smith Scholarship 4500
Ted and Nora Anderson Scholarships Four $500 scholarships
Albert M. Lappin Scholarship $1000
Rosedale Post 346 Scholarship 2 - $1500
Charles W. & Annette Hill Scholarship $1000
U.S. “Udie” Grant Scholarship $500
These American Legion Scholarships are due by July 15th, 2010.
Dr. “Click” Cowger Baseball Scholarship $500
American Legion Baseball Leadership $1000
Paul Flaherty Athletic Scholarship $250
