SCHS Art Class
Art class this year is a little different because Mrs. Harden is teaching from South Central. In some classes she has up to 40 students at one time since she is teaching over the Interactive Long Distance system.
Mrs. Harden tries something different each year to help students learn to draw and use the pencil. She shows them how to use value scales with the pencil, technical drawing of a windmill, and how to draw using the “7 laws of art perspective”.
Students chose their own background, but they all had to have the windmill and horse tank added to their landscape drawing using all the “7 laws” in their final project. They learned how to make clouds by using the eraser and blending by using tissue and q-tips. Students used what they learned to create these awesome landscape drawings.
